We never leave our childhood, it's deep in our memory, it's only when we get older we're too embarrassed to continue them. The Lion Golden syrup, from out of the strong comes the sweet. A dog in Belgium catches the virus from its owner.

Over the years I think I’ve had just about every possible pet from mice and rabbits to snakes and lizards. We’ve always had cats (sometimes as many as four at a time). Our present cat Lulu we have had for over ten years. We rescued her because she was the runt of the litter and although we tried many different types of cat food we couldn’t get her to eat, she refused to eat anything although she was obviously very hungry no matter how long we left her food in the bowl, using the theory that eventually she would eat. All our previous cats had eaten anything put in front of them so after having her checked out at the vets we began to get desperate and tried various unusual cat foods. We eventually found out what the problem was when we found her eating carrot. We have got a vegetarian cat! She still shows virtually no interest in meat or fish and prefers her plant based food and loves grass (maybe she’s really a sheep) but the vet says she’s in perfect health. Although she’s now ten she still behaves like a kitten and is very fond of sneaking up and attacking rugs and is sat on the keyboard as I'm trying to type this, I keep moving her off and she keeps walking back on.

Old Lincolnian, you have the perfect and wise cat. Kitten on the keys - now there are musical notes to that. Wave

Unfortunately Dreamtime this keyboard makes clicks instead of nice musical notes and she makes me take four times as long to type anything, and I have to keep vacuuming the cat hairs out as she's currently moulting. Wave

True Dreamtime, and once again as I start typing this she's decided to sit on the keyboard. Smile

My cat (looks very much like Neil's) also sits on my keyboard. It's the heat from the power supply attracts her, and she really doesn't appreciate being moved on.

Doesn't work in this house Dreamtime. The dog opens doors, the cat wanders in. Lol In fact, the cat woke me at some unearthly hour this morning because she wanted fussing. Nothing worse than a cat gently tapping your arm to wake you up. The dog remained fast asleep!

Our cat was too busy watching the snooker on the TV to do any work on the computer!

Hi Poetscorner, it looks very like the coronavirus but they're red. This must be the dreaded lurgy. They're only dangerous if you trip over them. Lol

Dreamtime, I know what you mean. He's known as "full-on" Ted.... games are serious. We've got two of them btw...... not easy with one trip out per day at the moment, but they're brilliant company and have trained me well ;-)
