I visited an old demolition friend of mine yesterday and noticed this nailed to his back garden gate. He has completely forgotten where he got it from. Has anyone seen one of these before and what does it signify? It is made of bronze or brass and is not distorted as my phone photo shows. Cheers

Thank you Cliff, I never thought to do that, at least I can tell my forgetful friend where his plate came from. Thumbs up

This is a shot of my posh birdbox I put up last year, I was somewhat annoyed this morning to see bees flying in and out of it. Angry

I am rather hoping they are just sheltering from the rain, do they do that? I have no idea myself. Roll eyes

If it looks like a hive in the wild, bees will home in on it. Even if it doesn't look like a hive in the wild, bees might make do. Bees are like that. :-)

If you look at the general shape which is what bees will see, there is a similarity between the home you have provided and what they might build for themselves, especially the conical base where the entrance would normally be.

On 4th Apr 2014 12:59pm, pixrobin said: This often happens when they are out of stock. Instead of having to go through the whole upload process over again they merely edit the price tag to a price where they won't get orders.
Thanks for that! I often wondered. Oh my Thumbs up
