Interested in history re Farcroft caravan site, Broad Lane. I lived there 1950's and would welcome info on building of site and reason for site, and when demolished? oran hunter

Reading this headline of the first thread of this link, it seems caravan sites were purposed to house after the bombing in WW2 in Coventry, as there was another caravan site in Little Park Street which was more like a shanty town, it also mentions Coventry kid visiting Farcroft caravan site Broad Lane in the mid 50s - link I have also come across a planning upgrade to Farcroft caravan site, why it was demolished I don't know.
