I enjoyed that Dutchman looked so pretty and calming but I dont think I would hang my frillies out in the street for all to see Big grin like they did back then

Yep, it's a great endeavour. Funny, but I started my Coventry project a little while before this was originally announced back in January but didn't hear about it till the finalist was chosen. They've done a fantastic job, though I don't know how much is only based on the map because I suppose no contemporary images exist. I'm tempted to have a go with the software since it's free if you don't use it commercially. I might need some more memory and I'd need loads more disk space! I'm well over half way through working out the old look of Coventry streets but there are some annoyingly persistent gaps. I hope to invade the Herbert on my way to and from London next month so in the new year I might have something to show for almost a years digging. Edited by member, 22nd Nov 2013 10:52 pm
