I don't come from there but I knew the Franklin family well who did. Mrs. Franklin was an interesting. kindly old lady who had been trained for 'service' at the Blue Coat School in Priory Row and I used to talk to her regularly about 'old Coventry'. If I remember she was born in Agnes Lane. The whole (large) family attended Harefield Road URC.

What's an 'URC'? Not a word I've come across previously. Edited by member, 4th Sep 2014 11:00 am
