I was thinking the same as Dreamtime Philip. Would it be vacant for a week in August please? Some lovely photos on the site this week from you, Neil and Midland Red. Thank you to everyone. Wave Gilly

Hi all Wave A view, now & before. PS. This pic as now, just prior to fence work & treatment. Just a few years ago. Make no mistake, if I was forty years old now, I would still love the garden as it was then, but totally impractical now. Now that we are old & clapped out, we need comforts like handrails.

Very nice Thumbs up I did the same a few years ago to make mine maintenance free, (well almost) as I kept both lawns front and back the rest is maintenance free, I did at one point upload some photos

Your garden's looking very springish Philip. Smile Looks like you and 'matron' can enjoy it this weekend too. There's something very invigorating about sunshine on spring blooms. Got me thinking about risking an early planting of runner beans.

Evening all Wave I love my care-home, complete with its own "outdoor", as I enjoy my Timothy Taylor. Cheers everyone & thank you for my birthday wishes. It's rapidly cooling down now so I have moved into the "indoor" Wendy house. Wave Cheers

Strangely enough Philip I've just done the same, however it's the breeze from the sea that's cooled things down! Cheers

It's still fairly early so I'm probably not quite with it yet but how do you get photos to go on a post please?

Yes that is unusual - I looked online and think it's a 'distrail' / dissipation trail (see wikipedia link). Smile Edited by member, 15th Apr 2017 4:30 pm
