Oh, that is terrible, what a blessing no one was killed. I am afraid that is a regular occurrence here in WA. I know well where that happened, probably peak hour traffic too. You don't expect that whilst having your breakfast do you. Oh my

Hi all & thank you MR, for that. Three bus mishaps within five days. What does concern me is that we never appear to get the info on what really happened. The death of two souls when a stagecoach bus went into a shop wall in Trinity St a while back, we still don't really know what was the cause. The similarity between the Keresley Rd incident this week & the Trinity St tragedy is uncanny. Both cases involve a bus moving under power & out of control. I have no authority to state an opinion on this, lacking in technical & circumstance information, as are most folk, but I just wish that we could learn from whatever was the cause. If we don't, the next mishap maybe another tragedy, not just a half demolished home as bad as that is.

Philip, I suspect they dare not print a reason, until proven, for fear of legal repercussions. I have my own suspicions about the bus crashing into the house; over the weekend, I was on the 72 bus in London, when our driver suddenly braked and swerved. From my side of the bus I could see why. The lights at the main side road were on red, but an idiot bloke on a bike carrying a long piece of wood and cycling one-handed thought he could shoot through and beat our bus. He had to swerve to avoid going underneath our bus, and our driver helped by swerving the bus a bit.

Slim, I believe that driver was 77 years old. Oh my I was wondering only recently why we hadn't heard anything about that incident for a while. I'm surprised the inquest hasn't been concluded.

Hi all Wave A couple of friends of ours living down under, are coming to Coventry for a warm up. They are going through a chilly spell just now. What a turn up hey! So a couple of pics to help our working members who are sweating away, paying our pensions. Now, come on, get on with it, where do you think you are, the "Home & Colonial"?
