I had a dad who encouraged his kids to try anything. Big grin On the downside I have a memory so poor that it makes goldfish send me pitying looks.

So I spent a large chunk of the last week trying to fit pictures of St Mary's Hall to locations but a couple refused to fit the plans. One of them magically dropped into place when I realised that I'd been looking at it upside down from the start.... Roll eyes

Well I think I am getting old. 58 years ago my wife and I decided to tie the knot, it's still tied. Strange as it may seem our parents had lived in the same village for over half a century when they were young. My father had played football for the local team and my wife’s father had stood and watched him as a boy win a cup. Ten years later my wife's father played with the same team and won a cup, and my father watched and cheered from the touchline. But over the war years everyone moved, until this day 58 years ago, when our fathers got to church and lo and behold they met again, a score of years or so between and no one realised until that day the story unfolded. All my life things like that happened.
