Does anyone remember a temporary building on the corner of Bayley Lane and Priory Street that had a water tap suspended by a wire and water running from it on view from a window??? Or am I dreaming this?? Oh my

Hope you're now feeling better, Bad Boy. Did it ring any bells for you? Nobody else seemed to remember the place. We would often call in there on Saturdays after we had been to the Gaumont 'Tanner Rush' to chat with the old blokes who worked there.

Yes, thanks Mister D-Di. I never went in, it always seemed to be closed when I passed by and I doubt, if it had been open I would have anyway. I was a very shy young lad it those days. Blush
