I have a newly acquired half-sister whose grandparents worked for, and lived in, at Matons in Byron St., adjacent to Coventry and Warwickshire Hospital. I wonder if any photos exist of the frontage.

Hi & thank you for that Wave There is a memory for me of what we do not see nowadays. A document, an invoice headed with "Dr". It means Debtor to. Thumbs up

Thanks Philip- I wondered what 'DR TO' meant Thumbs up (I originally thought it was probably some old Latin acronym). With modern technology, I guess in a few hundred years time, people will be trying to work out what 'PTO' & 'RSVP' meant Smile. Edited by member, 20th Jan 2016 7:32 pm
