Thank you for your reply Neil, as it's very much appreciated and what you did is honestly not a problem really, it was just a shock to see it on here, that's all! I fully understand what you mean, regarding not all members on this forum being on Facebook and so it's understandable that you yourself would want to share my photo with everybody on here! (I guess I should look at it as being a compliment in a way? lol). I would have got 'round to posting it on here myself anyway, as I'd already just posted it on two Coventry related Facebook sites, but as forum member "WEARETHEMODS" has suggested (and a good idea it is too!), if ever I post any of my transport related photo's onto Facebook, I will straight away then post the same photo's on here as well, so that nobody misses out on seeing them then! Anyway Neil, I appreciate and respect you for your reply and so please don't worry about anything, as it's all water under the bridge now and honestly not a problem at all!!! This forum is a brilliantly run site, with the most fantastic and very knowledgeable members on it and if people are happy to see any of my photo's, then I promise you that I'll keep on posting them on here!!! To save any embarrassment on this now (lol) and to knock it on the head, please feel free Neil to delete my comment above on the matter and either edit or delete this message of mine here now as well, as we can just forget everything then and I'll just re-post the photo myself underneath, in a new post!!!

A really fine picture. My favourite bus route because it dropped me off at the top of Lydgate Hill when I went to see my gran. The shop on the left hand corner was a men's outfitters in the 60s. I bought a full outfit of clothes once when I was on leave. Buying clothes then was a pleasure, not a chore.

A 1948 Daimler CVA6 here, seen standing in Pool Meadow bus station circa 1967, while on Driver Training duty! (You'll notice the big "DRIVER UNDER INSTRUCTION" "L" Plate attached to its radiator grill!).

It is carrying a "fleet number" 00, as opposed to the original 19. It also briefly carried 419 towards the end of its life Thumbs up

Hi all Wave This a part-copy of the posting on the Bedworth & Nuneaton topic. Changes to Nuneaton routes from 4th March 2017 09 Feb 2017 to 11 Mar 2017 Main Coventry routes below. Route 48 A new 0449 Nuneaton to Coventry will run on weekdays, running via Hilltop 0455, Bedworth Mill St 0503, Coventry Rd/Bayton Rd 0507, Longford Square 0511, Courtaulds 0519 and arriving in Coventry at 0527. Additionally the college days only 0803 Coventry Rd/Bayton Road to Nuneaton will now leave at 0800 and run 3 minutes earlier throughout. Routes 55, 56 and 57 In order to reflect on changes in passenger travel patterns, several route and timetable changes have been made. Route 55 will no longer serve Keresley Village & Prologis Park (see route 57) and will instead run via Wheelwright Lane, providing a new faster journey between Nuneaton, George Eliot, Bedworth, Bedworth Heath, Ash Green and Coventry. Route 55 will continue to provide 2 buses an hour. Route 56 will no longer serve Cross Keys (see route 57) and will instead run via Dark Lane. Route 56 will continue to provide 2 buses an hour. On Sundays, route 56 will be rerouted between Attleborough, George Eliot Hospital and Nuneaton. Route 57 will no longer serve Dark Lane (see route 56) and will instead run via Cross Keys, Keresley Village and Prologis Park. Route 57 will now run hourly. Routes 55, 56 & 57 will combine to provide a service between Coventry, Holbrooks and Prologis Park Junction up to every 12 minutes with a journey time between these points as little as 15 minutes. route timetable updates Updated 01 Mar 2017, 09:03 Route Diagram

As a child for an occasional treat on a Sunday afternoon in the summer I would be taken on a ride on a bus around the outer circle route. I think it began and ended at Pool Meadow but I can't remember where it went. Can anyone remember the route please?
