Growing up we didn't get pocket money, we did get comics if we did the jobs given us, we had Beano, Dandy, and Topper, it wasn't until we were 8 or so we had 6 old pence a week, this was split, half saved for holiday money the rest spent, mostly on sweets I have to say. We girls collected "scraps" small colourful paper pictures of various themes, and swapped them hopefully for Angels, the really desired scraps, any one else remember these?
