In the mid 80s there was a free, I think, weekly paper and in it was a column by Ernie Newbold on Coventry history. Can I find it on line, and what was it called? Smile Thumbs up

An internet search for The Coventry Citizen throws up a number of references. It seem to have been started in the mid eighties A reference in Coventry Live says that Ernie Newbold worked for both the Telegraph and Citizen before retiring in 1993 Edited by member, 5th Oct 2020 10:43 pm

The Telegraph had a supplement in the fifties, have no idea what it was called or how long it lasted, but there certainly was one.

The Citizen was the free paper in the 1980s, a spin-off of news already featured in The Coventry Telegraph, and pages of houses for sale from estate agents of the time. The editor was Barry Clarke.
