Council House

I took these photos on Heritage Day 2014. I was surprised that the inner courtyard of the Council House was covered in white tiles. The green pipework is almost artistic. Edited by member, 15th Oct 2020 8:02 pm

A nice pic of the building Anne, showing the slope of the street. I just wish that they'd a) taken a photo like this before they demolished the original buildings and b) taken a decent pic of the bit in the distance. It's taken me ages to piece it together.

Annewiggy Yes a great picture, but oh so bare, I would think before 1920 please put the trinkets back.

Don't know the griffon (?) holding a shield, but second one (TS) may be Thomas Sharpe, Coventry Historian, the third Leofric and Godiva.
