Dreamtime, due to all those crusts I'm owed curly hair but have annoyingly floppy stuff. The curses from hairdressers trying to get it to behave would... err curl your hair Most hairdressers tried to give me a bob, then in the 1990s they went through that terrible phase of trying to curl it out, like a kid’s drawing of ladies' hair. In both styles one side curved in and the other curved out. I looked like I was standing in a slight breeze.

Helen, have you notice the modern trend today for the old and the young. The beautiful long tresses may look good on the young but grey long tresses don't seem to impress somehow. The 'bobs' for the older ladies look so chic and smart (and they are catching on now). ‘Just come through a hedge backwards' would be how I describe mine having lived with the WA westerlies for a number of years. Incidentally, I have never been to a hairdressers yet but have been informed you even get a cuppa or a coffee if required. Make mine a nice Sauvignon Blanc and I might consider it.
