Hello Kathleen. Cookie here! Not really able to help you on this query as my mum and her family, who actually lived in Much Park Street and attended St Michael's School, were all there many years before you. Probably in the 1900's. I didn't realise it was still a school in the 1950's! I do remember it being demolished to make way for the ring road though, as my mum had a good cry when she saw the remains of it. Good luck in your quest for answers.
