I agree today it is a nightmare, not that I have been round for a while now. |

There are two chasses being driven around in this article. They are both Atkinsons, not Daimler. One has a 5 cylinder Gardner engine, the other a 6 cylinder Gardner engine. They have both been fitted with Self Change gearboxes for experiment evaluation. Atkinson, a northern lorry manufacturer who also make buses between 1953 and 1964. Eventually they were taken over by Seddon.
