This is a beautiful photo that looks like a painting. I visit Coventry fairly often but I haven't been on this side for a long time. Where does the walkway from the Council House lead to?

Nowhere Wink It’s been gone for a few years now. Used to link the Council House to civic offices across the road. Have a look here Thumbs up

I'd go for the Empire Cinema if it's the large building that you're indicating?

Having zoomed in a couple of times, I do believe you are right. I remember the Empire standing at the top end of Hertford Street, then still at the top end you could gain access to the markets. What would I do without the 'ZOOM'? Smile
