I think it lasted until the late 70's, similar to the Japanese Garden |

When I worked at Marconi in the late 1990s/early 2000s, I never even knew it was there. I had many a good drunken time in the old Grange, though. What a great place to get a job straight after University! There was a campus feel to the place and a real buzz due to the growth in telecom. That soon ended. |

Memorial Park: 1952 to 1979
Stoneleigh: Construction started in 1978 and the Society vacated in 1993.
Ryton Pools: Construction started in 1997 and the first rides were started in 1999 on a single section of track. A loop was constructed early in 2003 but the first public rides started, on completion, at Easter 2004. |
