Steam powered lawnmower

This is another of my demolition 'finds'. To find out more about the machine I sent the photo to The Lawnmower Museum, and they say it is a Leyland MPO18 (1893), the company we know today as British Leyland

Just noticed Foxcote. Written on the back in very faint pencil it says 'uncle Frank Foxon of Monks Kirby'

Interesting Foxcote. Makes mine look a bit sick.

Evening NormK. Foxon appears to be a name local to Monks Kirby. In 1901, in Main Street, there was a family of Foxon's but no Frank or Francis, maybe he 'lived in' somewhere as a gardener. I did find a Joseph Foxon, 26 King William Street, Coventry. Did you knock that one down? It would be great to find Frank, I'll keep having a look to finish the tale!
