The Hunt Ball

Very recently, a friend of mine was asking me if I remembered anything about an event, I believe associated with the football club, held at the end of the season, it was called "The Hunt Ball"?? Held at The Leofric Hotel, I believe. Any info/light would be much appreciated.

I have aquired some further info, from the font of all knowledge, about CCFC. Seems it was called "The Soccer Ball" (seems more appropriate), and was held between, early 1960s until, approx., mid 90s.
