Hi to all you ex rockers who remember Jackie & me at the café, sad news, Jackie passed away just a few weeks ago but previously often talked of those far off days. Sad news about Doug, I remember him well. Sad Sad

Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and kind words, Jackie and I had been happily married for 61yrs so it is hard, but luckily 18mths ago we moved to a retirement apartment overlooking Plymouth Sound, just a few feet from the sea, where we made new friends so I have a lot of support around me and many things to occupy my mind. I'm sure there are many others out there who know the feeling of being alone, I can only say life is what you make it. Keep smiling. Smile

Hi, a big big thank you on behalf of Mary and the kids to everyone who attended Doug's funeral what a fantastic turnout. You made Mary and the kids' day a little bit easier by seeing the church that full that half the people had to stand outside. So RIP Doug, you will sadly missed by everyone who knew you.
