The night was a regular feature of The United Nations Youth Branch of which I was chairman. This was in the mid 60's and I recall The Grunt band also appeared. Rod played for fun and a few bob as the hat was passed around |

My mates and I were well into the folk scene but I can't for the life of me remember were it was. I remember seeing a fabulous duo called Cosmotheka. Two brothers Dave and Alan Sealey who sang very funny musical hall songs ![]() Question |

Everybody was jammed in and sitting on the floor. Saw some great acts there from all over the UK and the USA. Jasper Carrott was there regularly before becoming famous. Another great singer was Sean Cannon who was with the Gaels before joining the Dubliners. |
