Does anyone recognise a face? Why is there just one poor man amongst all those women? Does the location ring any bells?

Must be a posh do with the little cups and taken in the 60's by the look of the hair do's and short skirts. He could be a celebrity. Good luck with this one Ballingham. ![]() |

Hi Ballingham
The gent does not look so very poor, with his smile all over him. Who would not be smiling surrounded as he is. At least they are not talking "behind his back". ![]() |

The Tamworth Road has large homes and large trees like this.
The lady with the hat on looks familier to me too she and the gentleman look as they are the visitors as they are the only ones with coats on.

I was at Coundon Court from 63 - 68 which was before it went co-ed. I am not sure if the boys arrived in Sept 68 or the following year. However I don't recognise any of the people in the photo and if it is some of the teachers Miss Foster the head is certainly not there. Also I am sure that all the rooms in the old house, where my form room was for 4 of my 5 years were wood panelled, with wooden pilisters going up to a cornice with engraved bosses of the initials of Mr Singer.
Regards,
