I've just picked up an interesting booklet from the Coventry History Society giving a brief history of this firm. Before and after the war the factory stood on the corner of Cox St and Ford St,opposite Wheatley St School and the Alexandra Cinema, it being badly damaged during the blitz. In the mid 70s I restored a tractor which had a Coventry Victor engine, the firm were still in existence then, mainly supplying parts and service and were working from Humber Rd Industrial Estate. The crankshaft was re-metalled by them for a pittance, Mr Weaver the grandson of the founder got the original dispatch book out and gave me all the information relevant to my engine. Has anyone any more memories????

Only that I remember the painted 'Coventry Victor' sign on the wall of the building they were in at Humber Road. It was opposite the former Oscott warehouse, which I used to frequently visit in the nineties. Nothing else - sorry!
