Talking of Hendre it ìs a Welsh name, from hen (old) and tre/dre (homestead, farmstead, town) with hendre usually meaning old farmhouse as in main or original farmhouse when other buildlings are used due to seasons, crops etc. So that was a long way of asking: did there used to be a farm there?

Posted a letter today (a rare event) and noticed that the pillar box outside the Walk-In Centre is "anonymous" and presumably Victorian despite the new setting.
