You know when you've got old

Today, while browsing through a website that sells vintage items, I spotted a dress described as 'vintage 1970's'. I have a photo of myself from 1975 wearing that same dress! Mine is long gone, and so are the platform shoes that were worn with it!

Petunia. I'm always horrified when I hear about something from the 80s, thinking it wasn't that long ago and realise it was 30-40 years ago. Even the Millennium is 20 years old. Gulp.

Hi ladies. I like to use the word 'savvy' a lot, it doesn't make me feel so dumb!!!! Talking of past eras, I still have a pair of red stilettos tucked away. No, I don't wear them now but there they are again in the shoe shops, higher than ever. You don't hear the words, 'Oh so bad for your feet' anymore.

Dreamtime - weren't red stilettos use for rather sexy Special K TV ads years ago? My favourite - the ads, not the brekky cereal! Were you the model?

Oh no, not me, but if I recall the K formed some red lips in an ad years ago too. I am more into garden Sloggers these days.
