The buildings are the right vintage but I don't remember them looking like that on the approach to the bridge, and they'd have been demolished at that date as you can see from the other photo of them in the goods yard.
The building at the top of the picture would be in the line of the bridge, and I don't remember the break in the wall on the right nor that a building butted directly on the left.
Stand to be corrected and can't think of another suitable location. There were photos taken at the canal basin but that wasn't 'my' area in those days.

I asked him to confirm the location and he says he can recall the day but just that it was at the back of Horizon Studios. You can see some old Yard buildings by Roddy here - I think they were photographed further down though out of shot. Definitely the same day though as they have the same clobber on!

Coincidentally (for me) those are the stables where my grandfather kept his horse. He worked as a carman for the LMS.
