Sphinx, Standard, Jaguar, Brico, Masseys, Wickmans, AP Leamington, Rootes, Coventry Co-op, the list goes on and on. I played for the Alvis for many years, we were lucky to have them, wouldn't happen now!!! But would put the old Butts pitch as the best around!! It was junior football's "Wembley". jeff |
