Slim Another Coventry kid All posts by this member | 5 of 5 Wed 3rd Aug 2016 12:22pm Member: Joined Mar 2013 Total posts:806 A blast from the past. That name rang a bell. Hadn't heard it for years. I used to see it on the inside adverts of the old Coventry buses, when I were a bairn.
I didn't know what they did, though, despite having spent a large chunk of my working life in electricity/electronics.
There were other good old firms in Coventry, like Storr and Townsend, and Paget and Chilvers. One of the lads in our year (A class I think) was the son of Trevor Chilvers, one of the partners. |
