After this closed in the 1980's it passed over to Coventry Homes (MHC) Ltd, for the provision of accommodation for adults with learning disabilities
Now known as Life Path Trust Ltd, they retain the premises as such, although it is currently empty, undergoing refurbishment for future similar use |

Also, another care home I was in, Roxborough on the Holyhead Road, also had the same fate I believe? |

I walk past it often but up until now had absolutely no idea what it was used for.
Incidentally those large houses in the Holyhead Road were once the homes of the "Master Watchmakers", a social elite who had ordinary watchmakers working under them. Almost all of the buildings are now residential homes of one sort or another.
There were similar houses/workshops on the south side of the Allesley Old Road, many of which have since been demolished.
