It would be hard to get a better match.

On the Trinity boundary line, in the garden of a house in Bayley Lane was found a stone to the memory of a fav horse. Beneath this ground in peace poor Tony lies, from which alas, he ne'er again will rise This stone was raised in memory of his worth By one who rode him almost from his birth John Bunney 1843.

I look at pictures like that Prof and mutter 'don't just take in the view, get closer and photograph what's in the hole.'

I was trying to come up with something quirky Helen but you beat me to it.

Dreamtime, that sort of picture throws me. I periodically try to match up pictures of cellars with a house above it. Often the road has widened and the cellar isn't where I first assume. That corner is a good example because originally there was another row of houses where the cars are.

Helen, if anyone can sort it you can. I was wondering what year that photo was taken. I didn't know you also dealt with underground workings.
