Old Ma (Mrs) Busby

Does anyone on here that lived/grew up around Wyken/Stoke Heath area, remember “Old Ma Busby”? Lived somewhere close to Meadway/Hillside, there was a narrow path leading to allotments I think. Any memories?

Hi slash1, I remember Mrs Busby well. During the school holidays I used to stay with my nan in Bartons Meadow and she was a regular passing by with her pram. I remember her having pigs in a small area behind Blackberry Lane, I think they have built a bungalow on that land now. By coincidence I happened to work at the same place (Nuffield Tool and Gauge) as her son when I was an apprentice. I think his name was Paul but not certain. Cheers
