Railway Cottage Bungalows, London Road

A request for the forum help, please. Whilst trying to assist someone this came up, their relatives lived there, now, I had never heard of them before and they were still there in 1971 and to my shame, I was in Whitley then and don't know anything about them. Does anybody else have any information about them, please? Derek.

What an interesting story. I had no idea that people had been housed in railway carriages near the London Road until such recent times. Let's hope that someone on here can add to the story..... anyone?
