What diversions will be in place I do not know but I can imagine it will be chaotic.
I'm told but cannot confirm that the huge new building just being completed on Rowley Road is Jaguar Land Rover's new battery factory for their electric vehicles, hence the bridge, but this will enable the whole area between the A45 and Rowley Road to be developed, work on which is ongoing.
The bridge deck is presently lying on the south side of the A45 and will be moved into position via massive bogies for the cranes to lift.
This is a mammoth task and I, for one, will be there to watch. |
