Coventry names and addresses book

Many years ago I was shown a small book which had the names and addresses of Coventry residents in it, can anybody tell me what the book was called or even better were I could buy one Thanks Neal

That sounds like a street directory, they were published annually covering individual ccounties or the larger cities, usually including a trades directory, something equivalent to the yellow pages nowadays. The history centre has a fairly comprehesive collection on open access, but I doubt any are in print a century later, maybe try ebay.
