Morning all, I had always intended this topic to be weather & blether. Here today, gone tomorrow. An over the garden fence 'yatter' kind of thing. Our weather interacts with so much of what we do or about. Whatever is shared, like the weather will be gone in a few days, we only keep current pages at any one time. Have a good day, all.

Saturday: Patchy rain moving through from the west in the early morning may give the odd heavy burst towards lunchtime. Predominantly dry with sunny spells by the afternoon. Maximum temperature 22°C. Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: Sunday looks mostly dry with long sunny spells after early showers. Monday appears to be a day of sunshine and showers. Turning wet and breezy on Tuesday. Feeling cooler throughout.

Hi all, Headline: Gradually turning warmer and sunnier. Today: A dry and rather cloudy start with the odd bright spell. Sunny spells will break through by the early afternoon for many, before thicker cloud and some rain arrives, mainly in the north. Feeling humid. Maximum temperature 25°C. Tonight: Any rain should fade quickly to leave behind a dry night. The north will remain mostly cloudy, though there should be some reasonable clear spells in the south. Feeling muggy. Minimum temperature 13°C. Thursday: Early bright spells filling in during the morning to leave conditions mostly overcast. The cloud breaking up in the evening, giving some bright or sunny spells. Feeling very warm. Maximum temperature 26°C. Outlook for Friday to Sunday: Friday will be hot with plenty of sunny spells. Saturday and Sunday should remain fine and sunny, though potentially feeling warm instead of hot. Updated: 04:00 (UTC+1) on Wed 5 Aug 2020

Yesterday's official forecast for Coventry weather today is a complete cock-up. Only my opinion. Very heavy & thundery rain may affect our region during the next few hours. Heavy rain is already affecting areas to the south of Coventry. Whilst showers are hit & miss, there was no mention in the official forecast. I watched it going pear shaped on the charts at eleven this morning. When a change creeps up like this that wasn't foreseen even last evening, the whole scenario may have to be rewritten. Too early to be sure at present. So, our day of wall to wall sunshine just hasn't happened. Hope my fish & chips don't get soggy.
