I've long been in control of my allergies with a mix of antihistamines from the supermarket and Piriton from the chemist. It's cheaper to buy in bulk than pay for prescriptions. I don't use them in a regular fashion but as and when I need them. I can go from none at all to the full daily allowance overnight. I slowly built up a bit of a stock for Brexit and then the pandemic but each time it was tough work getting even a basic amount, not that I mind because drugs should be cautiously used. Now they're sending me messages 'we think you might be running out'. Thank heavens they're not addictive. |
