They made gear tooth rounding machines. As an apprentice at Wickmans, we had 2 of these machines, and when operating them, the swarf came off like needles. Mick Strong |

My dad worked at Self Change until he passed in '85, and, as a kid I used to join mum and dad at the works club on a Saturday evening. The approach road to the works and the club ran down the side of the Hey works. |
