
paulpanic birmingham All posts by this member | 31 of 44 Thu 10th Jul 2014 7:28pm Member: Joined Jul 2014 Total posts:2 Back in 1980 I was in a band called the Accused, and we played a gig at a pub around Coventry somewhere called the White Swan, it is often mentioned in band circles, but I cannot for the life of me find it online. I would love to know if anyone remembers where it is or was. All I can remember is it was in a slightly countrified area just off a main road and stood on its own with a large car park to the right hand side. It had bands play now and again but there was no stage, the bands just cleared the tables out of a bay window area. Can anyone please help, many thanks from Paul ![]() |

I remember seeing bands playing here in the late 70s/early 80s.

The White Swan was situated next to the Swanswell Inn opposite the Fire Station next to Lady Herberts Garden by gatehouse, I feel I am correct but at my age I could be wrong.

The Swanswell Hotel continued trading until 1998 when it was known as "The Inn Place" and wasn't demolished until 1999. |
