I do not remember a Lynne Franklin who you say may have gone to Windmill Road school, as I did. If Lynne lived in Dovedale Avenue then she was certainly within the catchment area for Windmill Road school, however, my memory is nowhere as good as yours and she may even have been in the same class as me!! I am still in contact with a number of old schoolmates, and for my own interest, I will ask them. |

For nearly a hundred years my ancestors and family hauled coal into Coventry by the way of ten or more boats to their wharf at the Coventry Basin, and their offices being in Bishop Street, I feel proud that my family played a small part in the prosperity of the city of those years. |
